Snowfall in Humla – flights cancelled, life affected

Humla . With the change of weather, heavy snow has fallen in the high mountainous region of the country. Air travel has also been affected due to the snowfall. Two planes have stalled at Simikot Airport in Humla district headquarters due to inability to take off. The daily life of the people here has been affected.

The westerly winds have changed the weather across the country. The Meteorological Department has forecast light rain and snowfall in high hilly and mountainous areas across the country today and tomorrow.
